COMTEC
GmbH has organised an Information evening on their
proposed event Indian Expo 08.
The information evening took place on 9th
March 2008 at Malabar Garden Restaurant, Kusnacht/ZH.
Many eminent personalities from different organisation
and media were present.
The organisations participated are:
Indian Association, Keli, Bharatheeya Kalalayam,
Be Friends, Global Malayalee Council, Kerala Samajam
Bern, Pravasi Swiss, Friends of Changanasery, Indo-Swiss
Sports Club, Nedumbasery Club, Deepika, Kouni Reisen.
Some Associations have informed their inconvenience to
attend the meeting on that date.
The evening started with a welcome drink.
The Directors of Comtec has greeted the guests
who represent various Malayalee Associations and Media
in
Switzerland
.
Our
first speaker was Mr. Terly Kandenkerry, Director,
Comtec and he welcomed all guests to the show.
Introduction speech had delivered by Mr. Tomy
Thondamkuzhy, Director, Comtec, and he has given an
overview on Indian Expo and made a special note on
bringing all Malayalee Associations together and
outlined the role of COMTEC in creating an atmosphere to
make the event possible.
The aim and objective of the Expo was presented through
a Power Point presentation.
Mr. Baby Thadathil, Director, Comtec, anchored
the presentation and narrated the ever growing demand of
an Expo in
Switzerland
.
The evening was extremely well attended, and if success
can be gauged by the number of questions emanating from
the audience, then this evening was a resounding
success. The questions were promptly answered by Mr.
Jose Pellissery and Mr. Gigi Palathanam (Directors
Comtec). The enthusiasm shown by the participants are
well appreciated.
The information evening ended with vote of thanks by Mr.
Shalim Valiyaveetil, Director, Comtec and thereafter a
dinner was also arranged by hosting company.
Later
the attending members took an important step towards
getting the Malayalee Associations more closely,
involved in common affairs and work together for the
common needs of Malayalee community residing in
Switzerland
.

partner of Indian Expo 08

350 Swiss and Indian members. It is devoted to growing
business between individuals and companies in India and
Switzerland. Founded in 1985, SICC is widely recognized
as a key player in advancing Indo-Swiss economic
relationships. As an independent organization, the
Chamber co-operates with all public and private
institutions that pursue similar goals.
We
would like to welcome Swiss-Indian Chamber of Commerce
as a partner of Indian Expo 08.
The
objective of this event is to bring together investors
and service companies to promote and enhance business
relation, as well as providing a venue for exhibitors to
show prospects to potential investors.
Etihad
Airways participating in Comtec Indianexpo 2008 in
Zurich
Zürich: The National
airline of UAE, Etihad airways will be participating in
Comtec Indianexpo which will be on 12th and 13th of
April 2008 in Stadhalle Dietikon. This will be a golden
opportunity to all Indians and others to know more about
Etihad, about their service and new destination etc. In
a conference with the Directors of Comtec Mrs. Diederika
Tasma (senior sales Executive Etihad, Geneva) and Mr.
Eduardo Witschi (Marketing executive) told that they
were so happy to have face to face talk with Indian
community in Switzerland and they congratulated the
Directors of Comtec in conducting this mega exhibition.
The Indian community can put their suggestions and
proposals to the officials of Etihad on this occasion.
